Information the beta may use

Depending on the features you choose, Hunt Sphere IQ may use:

• Account details you enter, including your name and email address.
• Properties, boundaries, stands, map annotations, access routes, waypoints, observations, and notes.
• Your location when you use a feature that needs it, such as navigation, mapping, or field tracking.
• Hunt, scouting, recovery, harvest, rack-scoring, and trophy records.
• Photos you choose from your library or capture with the camera.
• Weather, map, parcel, terrain, and analysis requests needed to provide a feature you invoke.
• Diagnostic details and screenshots you choose to send when requesting support.

Where information is stored

Most beta account information and hunting records are stored locally on your iPhone. Sensitive local credential material is stored using Apple Keychain. Hunt Sphere IQ does not claim that locally stored data is a cloud backup or that it can be restored on another device.

Some optional services require limited server processing. Password-reset requests use Hunt Sphere IQ's protected web service and email delivery provider. Approved LiDAR beta access uses a protected Hunt Sphere IQ service; the service stores a salted password hash rather than a plain-text password, and the app stores its time-limited session credential in Apple Keychain.

Permissions

Hunt Sphere IQ asks for iPhone permission only when a related feature needs it. Location supports map positioning, navigation, and field tracking. Camera and photo-library access let you add images to records. You can change permissions in iOS Settings, but disabling one may prevent the related feature from working.

Service providers

Selected features may send the minimum request information needed to providers that supply hosting, email delivery, weather, maps, parcel context, public terrain or land data, LiDAR processing, or artificial-intelligence analysis. A request can include location or property geometry when that context is required to answer it. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

The beta website itself uses no advertising pixels, analytics, location access, cookies, or third-party embeds.

Retention and deletion

You control locally stored hunting records through the app's available edit and delete controls. Removing the app removes its local app data from that phone, subject to normal iOS and Keychain behavior. Hunt Sphere IQ cannot remotely erase a phone or restore deleted local records.

Private LiDAR job artifacts are scheduled for deletion after 30 days and can also be removed for a property through the authorized property-deletion path. Password-reset and support communications may be retained as needed to deliver the request, investigate a problem, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Provider retention may also be governed by the provider's own policy.

Security

Hunt Sphere IQ uses platform security features, HTTPS for supported network services, access controls, scoped credentials, and private storage for protected beta services. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and this policy does not promise end-to-end encryption.

Children

Hunt Sphere IQ is not directed to children under 13, and the beta is not intended for their use. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us so we can investigate.
